The Middle Atlantic SNE24-ST is a solid top panel for 24-inch wide SNE series racks, finished in black. It closes off the top of the enclosure for installations where a sealed, finished cap is preferred over a fan top or open frame. The panel is sized specifically for the 24-inch width in the SNE Security Network Enclosure line. A 30-inch wide version is offered separately for wider SNE racks.
Product Description
SNE series racks are configure-to-order security network enclosures, and the top panel is one of the choices an integrator makes when building out the frame. The SNE24-ST solid top is the closed option for 24-inch wide SNE racks: a flat black panel that caps the enclosure and keeps dust and debris from settling onto equipment from above.
A solid top suits SNE installations where active top ventilation is not part of the thermal plan, such as enclosures cooled through other panel options or rooms with conditioned air handling. It also gives the rack a clean, finished appearance in spaces where the enclosure is visible. Because SNE racks are built from separately ordered frames, doors, sides, and tops, confirm the rack width before ordering; this model fits 24-inch wide SNE frames only, and Middle Atlantic offers the SNE30-ST for 30-inch wide enclosures. For projects that call for forced-air exhaust instead, fan top options for 24-inch SNE racks are available in the same series. The SNE24-ST is the straightforward choice when the specification simply calls for a solid, black top panel on a 24-inch SNE enclosure.
