The Middle Atlantic SNE-CN-ADP4 is a 4-space cage-nut adaptor for SNE series rack enclosures that have 10-32 threaded rackrails. The adaptor converts 4 rack units of 10-32 threaded rail into cage-nut positions, allowing equipment that requires cage nuts to be installed in the same rack as equipment mounted with 10-32 screws. Sold as a pair for one complete front mounting position.
Product Description
Middle Atlantic's SNE series racks are typically configured with 10-32 threaded rackrails to accommodate the majority of AV equipment. However, some IT and networking equipment requires cage-nut mounting rather than direct 10-32 screw installation. The SNE-CN-ADP4 solves this hybrid mounting requirement by attaching to the existing 10-32 rackrail in a 4-space section and converting those positions to accept cage nuts. This is particularly useful in pre-configured SNE frames set up for hybrid or networking systems where a mix of 10-32-mounted AV equipment and cage-nut-mounted switching equipment coexist. The adaptor pair covers the front mounting positions and attaches directly to the SNE's 10-32 threaded rackrail without permanent modification.
