The Middle Atlantic SL-2 is a 2-space plexiglass security cover that combines tamper resistance with clear visibility into the covered equipment. The 1-inch deep cover features a permanent plexiglass window across the full front face, allowing status LEDs and panel displays to be read without removing the cover. Compatible with Middle Atlantic security rack screws for enhanced tamper deterrence.
Product Description
The SL-2 is the 2-space version in Middle Atlantic's SL series plexiglass security cover line. Where the standard S-series and SF-series security covers use metal perforation, the SL series replaces that with a clear plexiglass window, allowing a full unobstructed view of the equipment front panel. This is particularly valuable in installations where the covered equipment has a display screen, touchscreen, or multiple status indicators that need to be read regularly. The 1-inch depth provides a sturdy barrier against casual tampering. When installed with Middle Atlantic's Guardian Series HSK security rack screws, the cover requires a proprietary driver bit for removal. The SL series is available in 1, 2, and 3-space sizes, allowing the SL-2 to be combined with other sizes to cover whatever combination of rack spaces needs protection.
