Product Description
The SF1 is the 1-space version of Middle Atlantic's SF (fine perforation) security cover series. The fine perforation pattern provides a more secure barrier than standard large-perforation covers while still allowing airflow and LED status visibility. Covering a single rack unit, the SF1 is appropriate for individual 1U devices such as network switches, small processors, signal converters, or other equipment that occupies exactly one rack space. The 1-inch deep metal construction with installed rubber edging protects adjacent equipment finishes during installation and removal. When combined with Guardian Series HSK security rack screws, the cover requires Middle Atlantic's proprietary driver bit for removal, providing a meaningful deterrent against unauthorized access in education, hospitality, or public-access AV installations.
