Product Description
In classrooms, houses of worship, bars, and conference rooms, the most common threat to an AV system is not theft but well-meaning hands adjusting knobs and pressing buttons. The SECL-8 rack security cover from Middle Atlantic solves this by placing a locking barrier over 8 rack spaces of equipment. The hinged door is made of 3/16-inch smoked-gray plexiglass, so technicians and staff can still read meters, indicator lights, and equipment settings at a glance without opening the lock. The frame is steel, and the assembly extends just 1-1/2 inches from the rack rail, which is enough clearance for the knobs and switches on most processors, amplifiers, and mixers. A key lock controls access, and the cover is compatible with security rack screws for an additional layer of protection on the mounting hardware itself.
