The Middle Atlantic SECL-3 is a 3-rackspace (3RU) fixed security cover with a hinged, keylocked plexiglass door that prevents tampering with rack-mounted equipment. The smoked-gray 3/16 in. plexiglass allows a clear view of equipment settings and indicators while the cover is locked. Its 1-1/2 in. depth clears the controls on most equipment, and the steel frame mounts in any standard 19 in. rack.
Product Description
In shared spaces such as classrooms, conference rooms, houses of worship, and retail environments, exposed equipment controls invite accidental or intentional changes to system settings. The Middle Atlantic SECL-3 solves this by covering three rackspaces of equipment behind a keylocked, hinged plexiglass door. The smoked-gray 3/16 in. plexiglass keeps front panels, meters, and status LEDs visible, so technicians can confirm equipment state at a glance without unlocking the cover. When adjustments are needed, the door swings open on its hinge for full access to the equipment behind it. The cover's 1-1/2 in. interior depth easily clears knobs, buttons, and handles on most rack equipment. A welded steel frame provides durability, and the cover is compatible with security rack screws for an additional layer of protection against removal. The SECL-3 occupies 3RU; the SECL Series is also offered in 2, 4, and 8 rackspace sizes, including the 8RU SECL-8 for taller equipment groupings.
