Product Description
The SB5 is a 5U (5-space) flanged aluminum blank panel designed to fill unused rack space in standard 19-inch equipment racks. The textured flat black powder coat finish provides a professional appearance and coordinates with the dark enclosures and panels common in AV and IT rack installations. The aluminum construction keeps weight low while being machinable if cutouts or modifications are needed for a specific installation. The flanged design provides standard rack mounting tabs on both sides for secure attachment. Middle Atlantic SB series panels are available in contractor packs (CP suffix) for installations where multiple blank panels are needed — the contractor packs are individually poly-bagged for protection and provide a cost-effective way to stock commonly used sizes.
