Product Description
The S2 is the 2-space version in Middle Atlantic's S-series perforated security cover line. Using a large perforation pattern, the S2 allows significant airflow and good LED status visibility while creating a physical barrier over two rack spaces of equipment. The large perforation design makes it appropriate for use over equipment that generates moderate heat and requires strong airflow while still needing protection against casual tampering. The 1-inch deep metal construction and installed rubber edging protect adjacent equipment front panels from scratches during installation and removal. When combined with Middle Atlantic Guardian Series HSK security rack screws, the S2 requires a proprietary driver bit for removal, deterring unauthorized access in commercial installations such as education facilities, houses of worship, and public meeting spaces.
