The Middle Atlantic S1 is a 1-space perforated security cover that protects a single rack unit of equipment from tampering while providing ventilation and LED visibility through its large perforation pattern. The 1-inch deep metal cover includes installed rubber edging to protect adjacent equipment finishes. Compatible with Guardian Series HSK security rack screws for enhanced tamper deterrence.
Product Description
The S1 is the 1-space version of Middle Atlantic's S-series standard perforated security cover line. Using a large perforation pattern, the S1 allows maximum airflow and clear LED status viewing while creating a physical barrier over one rack space of equipment. The larger perforations compared to the SF1 (fine perforation) make it ideal for equipment that generates more heat and requires strong airflow through the front panel, such as amplifiers or processors with ventilated faceplates. The 1-inch deep metal cover with installed rubber edging protects adjacent equipment during installation and removal. When combined with Guardian Series HSK security rack screws, the S1 requires Middle Atlantic's proprietary driver bit to remove, deterring unauthorized equipment interaction in public-access AV installations.
