The Middle Atlantic S-DEC is a Decora-mount remote power switch that initiates up/down power sequencing from a convenient wall or panel location. It connects to the Middle Atlantic USC-6R Universal Sequencing Controller through an RJ-45 jack and terminal block, and is also compatible with MPR-SEQ, MPR-SEQ-1C, and PDS Series power products. The Decora form factor mounts in Decora-shaped openings on Middle Atlantic panels and racks for a clean, integrated installation.

Product Description

Sequenced power-up protects AV systems by bringing amplifiers, processors, and sources online in the correct order, and the S-DEC puts control of that sequence where operators actually need it. This remote switch provides up/down sequence initiation away from the equipment rack, so a presenter, technician, or staff member can start or shut down the system from a wall plate or rack panel. Status LED indicators give at-a-glance confirmation of system state. Connection to the USC-6R Universal Sequencing Controller is straightforward through a convenient RJ-45 jack and terminal block, and the switch also works with Middle Atlantic MPR-SEQ, MPR-SEQ-1C, and PDS Series sequencing products. Because this is a Decora-mount device, it installs only in Middle Atlantic products with Decora-shaped openings, including Decora device panels and rack openings. For installations where power control should be restricted to authorized users, the companion K-DEC offers the same function with a keyswitch instead of an open switch. In boardrooms, houses of worship, classrooms, and performance spaces, the S-DEC delivers simple one-touch power sequencing control.
