Product Description
The RULER is a purpose-built tape measure for AV integrators. Standard tape measures show length but require the installer to mentally convert to rack spaces when measuring rough-in openings, cabinet heights, or rack mounting positions. The RULER adds RU markings alongside standard length measurements, allowing direct rack unit readout without manual calculation. The quick-reference formulas printed on the tape's back face — Ohm's Law, cable bend radius standards, and fraction-to-decimal conversions — provide a built-in cheat sheet for common field calculations. The 16-foot length is sufficient for tall rack columns and most rough-in dimensions. A thumb lock and quick-hold button give two options for holding the blade open, and a belt clip and nylon strap keep the tool accessible during installation work.
