The Middle Atlantic RSHA-JOSH-CORE2 is a 1RU custom rack shelf engineered in partnership with Josh.ai to mount two Josh.ai Core processors in an equipment enclosure. The faceplate opening is precision cut for the Core form factor, securing both units while supporting the thermal management voice-control processors require. With patented tool-free assembly and a black brushed and anodized finish, it gives home automation racks a factory-fit appearance.

Product Description

Installing a Josh.ai voice-controlled home automation system in a rack means mounting hardware that was never designed with rack ears — the RSHA-JOSH-CORE2 solves this with a purpose-built solution for dual Core deployments. The shelf uses Middle Atlantic's patented face-after design: assemble the shelf tool-free, rack it, set the Josh.ai Cores in place, then snap the faceplate on after the shelf is already mounted. That sequence makes initial installation faster and makes component swap-outs practical without pulling the shelf from the rack. The precision-cut faceplate opening frames both Cores cleanly, keeps them secure, and maintains the airflow path that protects system reliability. Behind the faceplate, the patented universal mounting pattern accepts additional components and provides anchor points for effective cable management. Pop-and-twist rear Forward Stop Brackets allow quick, fine adjustment of component positioning so the Cores sit flush in the opening. Fully ventilated ears and bottom panel promote cooling airflow through the 1RU footprint. The black brushed and anodized (BBA) finish matches other Middle Atlantic anodized rack hardware for a consistent rack elevation in residential integration projects.
