The Middle Atlantic RSH4S5XXW is a custom 5U rackshelf with a wide-format, textured black powder-coat face plate and a 20.5" shelf depth. Part of the RSH Rackshelf with Textured Face Plate series, it lets integrators mount virtually any non-rackmount component in a standard 19" rack or enclosure without modifying the rack. The steel face plate is custom-cut at the factory to match the front profile of your specified AV component, producing a clean, finished rack elevation.

The RSH4S5XXW solves this by pairing a rigid equipment shelf with a face plate that Middle Atlantic custom-cuts for the exact component you plan to mount. Once installed, the component sits securely on the shelf while the cutout frames its front panel for a factory-finished appearance.

This model occupies 5 rack spaces (8.75" of vertical rack height) and provides a 20.5" deep shelf — the deepest depth code (XX) in the RSH4S line — making it the right choice for full-depth chassis such as power amplifiers and larger AV receivers. The trailing W in the model number designates the wide format, sized for components with wider front panels than the standard cutout accommodates.
