It installs in any standard 19-inch rack or enclosure without modifying the component, and assembles in minutes. The cut opening produces a tight, finished front elevation with no gaps.

The 14-inch platform is a practical middle depth: long enough to support most disc players, streaming devices, and compact processors, short enough to preserve rear rack space for power and cabling. Components up to 17-3/4 inches wide fit the standard-format opening; anything broader should move to the RSH4S3MW wide version. Assembly takes minutes, and the included rear brackets keep the mounted device from sliding backward out of the enclosure.
