Its textured black powder-coat steel face plate is custom cut by Middle Atlantic to the exact front dimensions of the AV equipment you specify when ordering. This converts a non-rackmount device into a properly mounted, fully faced component in any standard 19" rack. It is the standard-width sibling of the wide-format RSH4S2XXW.
