The Middle Atlantic RSH4A5X is a custom 5U rackshelf that lets you mount virtually any non-rackmount component in a standard 19" rack or enclosure without modifying the equipment. Its black brushed and anodized face plate is custom cut to the dimensions of your specified device, framing it cleanly within the rack face. The 17.5" depth makes this the deepest standard-width shelf in the 5U RSH4A lineup, suited to long-chassis amplifiers, receivers, and source components.

Mixed equipment racks almost always include at least one device that was never designed for rack mounting. Rather than leaving that component on an open vented shelf with visible gaps, the RSH4A5X custom rackmount shelf integrates it like factory rackmount gear. Middle Atlantic cuts the anodized face plate to your component's exact width and height, so the finished installation looks intentional and professional. Five rack spaces of height give headroom for taller consumer and pro AV electronics, and the 17.5" platform depth keeps deep chassis fully supported. The shelf bolts to standard 19" rack rails, so it works in Middle Atlantic enclosures as well as any EIA-compliant rack frame.
