The RSH4A4S belongs to Middle Atlantic's RSH series of custom rackshelves with anodized face plates, a system built around one idea: any component should be able to live in a 19-inch rack and look like it was designed for it. When you order this shelf, you specify the exact make and model of the device it will hold. Middle Atlantic references its measurement database of AV components and cuts the 4U face plate to that device's footprint, so the front of the component shows through a precise opening while the panel conceals the rest of the bay.

The S-depth base measures 11.5 inches, the shortest platform in the RSH4A line. That makes this model a practical match for cable boxes, streaming devices, compact processors, and other short-depth gear, and it leaves generous rear clearance in shallow wall racks and credenza enclosures where every inch of depth matters.
