Not every equipment rack has depth to spare. Credenza racks, wall-adjacent enclosures, and racks dense with rear cable management often cannot accept a 17.5-inch or 20.5-inch shelf. The RSH4A3R-MC answers that constraint with a 15.5-inch platform, the second-shallowest depth in the RSH4A McIntosh series, while still carrying full-size McIntosh front panels behind a custom-cut anodized faceplate.

The shelf occupies three rack spaces (3RU, 5.25 inches) on standard EIA rackrail. The component sits on the shelf surface and the faceplate frames its front panel, so the rack opening is closed off cleanly rather than left with visible gaps. There is no drilling and no change to the McIntosh chassis, which keeps the equipment intact and resale-ready.

When ordering, specify the McIntosh model so the faceplate cutout is machined to match.
