The Middle Atlantic RSH4A3M-MC is the shallowest shelf in the RSH4A McIntosh series: a 3-space custom rack shelf with a 14-inch deep platform and a black brushed, anodized faceplate cut for the specific McIntosh component it carries. It mounts non-rackmount McIntosh gear in any standard 19-inch rack without modifying the equipment. The short depth is purpose-built for compact components and space-constrained enclosures.

Wall-mounted racks, AV furniture, and slim equipment closets rarely offer the depth that a full-size rack shelf assumes. At 14 inches deep, the RSH4A3M-MC mounts compact McIntosh components, such as tuners, CD transports, and streaming sources, where the longer shelves in the series simply will not fit. Rack height is three spaces (3RU, 5.25 inches) on standard EIA rackrail.

The mounting approach is the same proven RSH design used across the series. The component rests on the shelf, and a custom-cut anodized face plate frames its front panel, sealing the rack opening for a clean, integrated appearance. Nothing is drilled, glued, or screwed into the McIntosh chassis, so the equipment stays in original condition.

Each faceplate is machined for the McIntosh model you specify, so confirm the exact component when ordering and check that its overall depth, including rear connections, clears the 14-inch platform.
