The Middle Atlantic RSH4A2XX is a 2U custom rack shelf that pairs the deepest platform in the RSH4A line, 20.5", with a black brushed anodized face plate cut to your specified component. It mounts virtually any non-rackmount device in a standard 19" rack or enclosure without modifying the rack or the equipment. Choose this model when a compact-width component is too long for the 14", 15.5", or 17.5" shelves in the series.

Depth is the spec that disqualifies most rack shelves: media servers, long-chassis disc transports, and certain network and control processors extend well past the 14" to 17.5" platforms common in custom AV racks. The RSH4A2XX exists for exactly that equipment, providing 20.5" of shelf depth in a two rack space format. As with every RSH4A custom rackshelf, Middle Atlantic machines the anodized faceplate opening to the make and model you specify, so the installed component sits behind a precise, finished cutout rather than an oversized universal opening. Front-panel buttons, IR windows, and disc trays remain fully usable, and the tight reveal keeps stray light and dust paths to a minimum. The 2U height suits low-profile components and conserves rack spaces in dense equipment elevations. The black brushed anodized finish matches Middle Atlantic blank panels, vent panels, and rack drawers, which keeps a mixed-equipment rack looking coherent from the front.
