The Middle Atlantic RSH4A10X is a 10U custom rack shelf enclosure built to mount non-rackmount equipment in any standard 19" rack with zero cabinet modification. Each unit ships with a black brushed and anodized face plate that is custom-cut to the component you plan to install. With 17.5" of depth across ten rack spaces, it handles tall, deep AV and IT devices that would otherwise sit loose on a shelf.

Middle Atlantic fabricates each RSH4A shelf to order, cutting the anodized face plate precisely around your component's front panel so controls, displays, and connections remain accessible while the rack keeps a uniform, finished look. The black brushed finish matches Middle Atlantic blanks, vents, and rack hardware, so the custom enclosure disappears into the elevation. In the RSH4A naming scheme, "10" indicates the 10-rack-unit height and "X" indicates the 17.5" depth tier — the deepest standard option short of the 20.5" XX series. Installation is straightforward: the shelf fastens to standard EIA 19" rack rails like any other rackmount component.
