The Middle Atlantic RSH4A10R is a custom rackshelf enclosure that converts ten rack spaces into a dedicated mounting bay for equipment that was never designed for a 19" rack. The R depth code provides a 15.5" deep shelf, sized for mid-depth AV components, and the black brushed and anodized face plate is custom-cut to your exact device. No modifications to the rack or the equipment are required.
Product Description
Integrators routinely face the same problem: a project specifies a component with no rack ears and no mounting kit, yet it has to live in the equipment rack. The RSH4A10R answers that requirement with a built-to-order 10U rack shelf enclosure from Middle Atlantic's RSH4A line. When the shelf is fabricated, the anodized face plate is precision-cut around the front panel of the component you specify, leaving controls, drive bays, and connectors fully accessible while the surrounding rack elevation stays clean and uniform. At 15.5" deep, the R-depth chassis suits mid-depth sources, processors, and media devices; deeper gear can step up to the 17.5" RSH4A10X. The shelf bolts to standard EIA 19" rack rails, so it installs in Middle Atlantic enclosures and third-party racks alike. Beyond appearance, enclosing loose equipment improves security, keeps cabling organized behind the face plate, and prevents devices from shifting during service work.
