Not every rackmount installation starts with a rack. Credenzas, lecterns, built-in cabinetry, and equipment closets frequently need rackrail added to a custom opening, and the RRF series is Middle Atlantic's answer for exactly that work. The RRF27 provides 27 rack spaces of mounting height per rail, threaded for 10-32 screws, the standard fastener for AV rack equipment.

The rails are formed from sturdy 1/8-inch thick steel, so threads hold up to repeated equipment changes and heavier component loads. Hole placement follows EIA standard spacing, which keeps every rackmount component, blank, and vent panel aligned exactly as it would be in a factory-built rack. The black e-coat finish resists corrosion and presents a clean edge where the rail meets finished millwork.
