Product Overview
The Middle Atlantic RR2-3RCN is a 2 RU rackrail recessor that mounts behind the standard rackrail position to recess equipment 3 inches deeper into the rack. This allows equipment with protruding handles, cable bundles, or rear connectors that run close to the rack front to be set back, creating clearance for better cable management and door closure. Constructed from sturdy steel, the RR2-3RCN is not compatible with CFR series racks.
Product Description
In some rack installations, equipment front panels need to be set back from the rack face rather than flush. Common reasons include equipment with protruding handles that prevent rack door closure, thick cable bundles that obstruct the front panel when plugged in, or design requirements that call for a recessed panel appearance. The RR2-3RCN recessor adds a 3-inch offset to the rackrail mounting position over 2 rack units, pushing equipment 3 inches deeper into the rack enclosure. The dimensions are 3.5 x 3 inches (88.9 x 76.2 mm) and the package weighs 0.45 lb. Note that the RR2-3RCN is not compatible with Middle Atlantic CFR series racks due to their specific interior geometry.
