The Middle Atlantic RKW is a four-piece caster kit that adds mobility to Middle Atlantic laminate racks. The set includes four steel casters, two of them locking, with a 150 lb load capacity for the kit. Installed, the casters add 2-3/4 inches to overall rack height. For heavier loaded racks, Middle Atlantic offers the separate RKW-HD heavy-duty caster kit.
Product Description
The RKW caster kit lets a Middle Atlantic laminate rack roll out for service access and slide back into place, which is especially useful for credenza and furniture-style installations where equipment is accessed from the rear. The kit is sold as a complete set of four casters, and two of the four include brakes so the rack stays put once positioned. Construction is steel, and the kit carries a 150 lb weight capacity, suited to lightly and moderately loaded laminate enclosures. Plan for the added 2-3/4 inches of height when verifying clearance under counters or inside millwork. Installation is straightforward and converts a stationary laminate rack into a mobile one without modifying the rack body. If your equipment load exceeds the 150 lb rating of this kit, step up to the RKW-HD heavy-duty version, which is listed separately. As a genuine Middle Atlantic accessory, the RKW is matched to the company's laminate rack lines for proper fit.
