Furniture-style and credenza AV installations often leave the back of the equipment rack exposed to tampering, dust, and accidental cable pulls. The RK-RAP8 rear access kit closes off the rear of an 8-space RK Series laminate rack with a locking panel, restricting access to patch connections, power distribution, and source equipment. The keyed lock deters casual tampering in classrooms, conference rooms, and retail environments while still allowing technicians quick entry for service.
An integrated brush cable entry lets signal, network, and power cabling pass through the closed panel without leaving an open gap. The brush grommet conforms around installed cables, helping limit dust intrusion at the rear of the enclosure.
