The Middle Atlantic QTFP-2 is a 3-space quiet fan panel assembly that brings active cooling to any standard 19" equipment rack. The panel arrives ready to work: two fans and protective grilles come factory-installed, with a cord and plug included for immediate power connection. Designed for quiet operation in demanding environments, it removes the heat that shortens the life of amplifiers, processors, and network equipment without adding distracting fan noise to the room. The black textured powder coat finish integrates with the rest of a Middle Atlantic rack build.

Product Description

Every watt an AV rack consumes eventually becomes heat, and in an enclosed rack that heat needs an engineered way out. The QTFP-2 gives integrators a one-part-number answer: a 3 RU rack fan panel with two fans and grilles installed at the factory, eliminating the field labor of assembling fans, guards, and wiring onto a blank panel. Middle Atlantic developed its quiet fan panel line for installations where the rack shares a room with people — conference rooms, control spaces, home theaters, houses of worship — so cooling performance does not come at the cost of audible distraction. Dual fans move more air than a single-fan panel, making this configuration the better fit for densely loaded racks and equipment with higher thermal output. The included cord and plug mean the assembly powers up without custom electrical work, keeping installation time short. Mounting follows standard 19" rack practice, occupying three rackspaces wherever airflow does the most good in the enclosure. The black textured powder coat surface matches Middle Atlantic blank panels, vent panels, and laminate enclosures, maintaining a consistent finished appearance.
