The Middle Atlantic PPM-DO Series adds a front door to PPM pivoting panel mount racks, increasing security and reducing the potential for dust and debris reaching mounted equipment. Doors are built from steel with a black powder coat finish that matches the PPM enclosure. Two sizes are available to fit 6-space and 8-space PPM Series racks.
Product Description
PPM Series pivoting panel mounts put compact rack equipment on the wall in closets, utility rooms, and behind-display locations, and the PPM-DO door closes off the front of that enclosure. Adding a door discourages casual tampering with switches, patch panels, and source gear, an important consideration in classrooms, retail spaces, and shared work areas where wall-mounted equipment is within easy reach.
The door also shields equipment from dust and debris, which helps keep vents, connectors, and cooling paths cleaner over the life of the installation. Steel construction with a black powder coat finish stands up to daily contact and visually matches the PPM pivoting panel mount and other Middle Atlantic wall rack accessories.
