The Middle Atlantic PB-5A is a pair of steel mounting brackets that allow Middle Atlantic vertical power strips to be mounted on the rear rackrail of AXS, Slim 5, RL, RLA, and MK Series racks, as well as the rackrail of any standard equipment rack. Sold in pairs, the PB-5A brackets are fabricated from steel with a black powder coat finish, providing a secure rear-mount position for vertical power distribution within the rack enclosure.
Product Description
The Middle Atlantic PB-5A brackets are designed to mount Middle Atlantic vertical power strips to the rear rackrail in supported rack series, keeping power distribution units organized and out of the main equipment bay. Compatible rack series include Middle Atlantic AXS, Slim 5, RL, RLA, and MK Series, as well as the rackrail of any standard 19-inch EIA rack. By positioning power strips vertically at the rear of the rack on the rackrail, the PB-5A brackets free up rack unit space that would otherwise be used for horizontal power panels, and keep AC power cabling routed close to the rear of the enclosure. The brackets are constructed from steel with a black powder coat finish and are sold in pairs, with one pair required per power strip installation.
