The vented top fits WR, WRK, MRK, VRK, VMRK, and DRK series racks and ships in a black finish. A removable two-space service plate lets technicians take the top off without disturbing installed cable bundles.

Heat is the most common cause of premature equipment failure in AV and IT rack installations, and the top of the enclosure is the natural exit point for rising warm air. The Middle Atlantic MW-VT replaces a solid rack top with a large perforated panel offering 64% open area, giving hot air a direct path out of the enclosure. This passive ventilation approach works well in equipment rooms where ambient conditions are controlled and forced-air fan tops are not required. The MW-VT is built from steel and finished in black to match Middle Atlantic WR, WRK, MRK, VRK, VMRK, and DRK series racks.
