Product Description
Heat rises, and the top panel of an equipment rack is the single most effective place to let it escape. The MW-LVT replaces a solid rack top with a large perforated panel offering 64% open area, allowing warm air generated by amplifiers, servers, and processing gear to exhaust naturally or with the help of the rack's existing airflow scheme. The higher the open percentage, the lower the resistance to exhaust air, which makes this large-perforation top a strong choice for racks carrying significant thermal loads. Compatibility spans the core Middle Atlantic floor-standing families: WR, WRK, MRK, VRK, VMRK, and DRK Series racks all accept the MW-LVT. A practical service detail sets this top apart: the removable two-space service plate creates a pass-through for cabling that enters the rack from overhead. When the top needs to come off for service or reconfiguration, the plate detaches so the full top can be removed without cutting tie wraps or disrupting dressed cable bundles.
