Product Description
The MRK-Z4 Seismic Bracket Kit from Middle Atlantic Products provides the floor anchoring hardware required to bring DRK, MRK, and VMRK Series rack enclosures into compliance with Zone 4 seismic certification requirements. These ratings are required for AV and data installations in high-seismic-risk geographic areas and are commonly mandated for essential facilities including hospitals, emergency operations centers, and government buildings. The kit contains four brackets that anchor the enclosure base to the floor structure. Compliance with the stated Zone 4, SDC D ratings requires following Middle Atlantic's installation documentation precisely; correct installation procedure is required to achieve the certified seismic performance. One set of four brackets covers a single rack, so installations with multiple DRK, MRK, or VMRK enclosures need one MRK-Z4 kit per rack.
