The Middle Atlantic MPR-8A is a 72-inch vertical power raceway that accepts up to eight MPR series power modules, sized for full-height equipment racks that need fewer module positions than the longer MPR-9A. Middle Atlantic's MPR series replaces fixed power strips with a configurable raceway-and-module architecture, and the MPR-8A is the 72-inch member of that family. Where the MPR-9A offers nine module positions for the tallest enclosures, the MPR-8A provides eight positions in a shorter chassis, matching racks where mounting height or outlet count is more modest. The open raceway design exposes the full channel, so power modules install quickly and can be relocated without disassembling the rail. A deep raceway profile provides capacity for multiple circuits, allowing separate branch circuits to run side by side for load isolation between amplifiers, processors, and network gear. Incoming power lands through T Series tails, with one tail feeding each circuit in the channel. The aluminum construction keeps installed weight low on the rack frame, while the black powder coat blends with standard rack hardware.
