Product Description
Active cooling is essential for populated MFR Series rack enclosures operating in warm equipment rooms or locations with limited natural airflow. The MFR-FANKIT-2 provides a pair of 3-inch DC fans with a combined airflow capacity of 50 CFM, sufficient for moderately loaded MFR Series racks. The included 115V power supply means no separate power sourcing is required; the kit installs and connects directly. DC fans generally operate more quietly than AC fans at equivalent airflow ratings, making the MFR-FANKIT-2 appropriate for noise-sensitive MFR installations in offices and AV rooms. Fan guards are sold separately and should be ordered to protect fan blades in installations where rack interiors may be accessed during operation. The kit is designed specifically for MFR Series racks for precise mechanical fit.
