The Middle Atlantic M-20IGA is an MPR Series always-on power module that provides a 20-amp isolated ground duplex receptacle for rack power systems. Installed in an MPR Series raceway, it delivers an unswitched outlet pair on an isolated ground path for noise-sensitive equipment. Steel construction with a black textured powder coat finish matches the rest of the MPR vertical power platform.
Product Description
Audio, video, and broadcast equipment can be sensitive to ground-borne noise, and an isolated ground receptacle is the standard wiring practice for keeping a clean, dedicated ground path to that gear. The Middle Atlantic M-20IGA brings isolated ground service to the modular MPR power platform with a 20-amp duplex receptacle in a single module. Because MPR modules allow the customization of a power strip to meet project needs, the M-20IGA can be combined with standard duplex, twist-lock, surge-protected, and controlled modules in the same raceway — placing isolated ground outlets exactly where the sensitive equipment sits in the rack. As an always-on module, its receptacles remain energized continuously and are not switched or sequenced, which suits source gear and processors that should never lose power unexpectedly. The module operates on 115V input power and uses the MPR platform's unique genderless connector for power distribution within the raceway. Steel construction with a black textured powder coat finish stands up to the rack environment. It installs in MPR-6A, MPR-8A, and MPR-9A raceways. Where relay control of the isolated ground circuit is required, the companion RLM-20IGA provides the same 20A iso ground receptacle in a controlled format, and the M-2X20IGA doubles the outlet count with an IG double duplex.
