The Middle Atlantic KYLK is a user-installable keylock option for UD Series rack drawers. The keylock adds a keyed locking mechanism to a UD Series drawer, preventing unauthorized access to the drawer contents and the equipment or media stored inside.
Product Description
The KYLK keylock is an add-on security accessory designed to retrofit into existing UD Series rack drawers. UD Series drawers are shipped without a lock by default; the KYLK can be installed by the user when locking is required. This approach allows integrators to decide whether locking is needed after the initial installation, without having to specify a locked drawer model at the time of purchase. The lock prevents the drawer from being opened without the correct key, which is useful in environments where drawer contents — such as disc media, remote controls, or small electronic devices — should be secured against casual access. Installation does not require special tools and can be performed in the field as circumstances dictate.
