Product Description
Middle Atlantic's standard solid rear doors on WRK, MRK, and ERK Series enclosures are configurable for active or passive thermal management. The doors are manufactured with laser knockouts that installers remove in the field, then fit with KO Series fan, vent, or filter kits to build the airflow scheme each rack requires. The KO-FILTER3 is the filter kit sized for the 5.25-inch knockout openings. Once the knockout is removed, the kit mounts in the door and filters air entering the enclosure, reducing the dust that reaches amplifiers, switches, and other installed electronics. The filter element is washable, so routine maintenance is a rinse-and-reinstall task rather than a recurring consumable purchase. Filter kits like this are commonly paired with KO Series fan kits elsewhere on the door, with filtered openings serving as clean intake points for the airflow the fans create.
