The Middle Atlantic IMFR-FANKIT-2 is the international version of the MFR Series DC 2-fan kit, configured for 220-240VAC input voltage for use outside North America. The kit includes two 3-inch DC fans delivering 50 CFM combined airflow, a power supply with international plug adapters, providing a complete active cooling solution for MFR Series racks in international installations. Fan guards are not included and must be sourced separately.
Product Description
The IMFR-FANKIT-2 addresses the need for factory-designed active cooling in MFR Series rack systems deployed in international markets. The 220-240VAC power supply with international outlet plugs makes the kit compatible with power systems in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and other regions operating on higher voltage mains. The two 3-inch DC fans provide 50 CFM of airflow, sufficient for moderately loaded MFR Series racks. DC fans are preferred for AV environments due to their quieter operation compared to AC fan equivalents. The kit installs directly into MFR Series racks without field modification. Fan guards should be added separately to protect the fan blades when the rack interior is accessed during maintenance. For AV integrators deploying MFR Series racks in international facilities, the IMFR-FANKIT-2 is the correct cooling accessory to specify.
