Product Description
The IEC-6X4 pack from Middle Atlantic Products delivers four 6-inch IEC power cables with the SignalSAFE twisted-wire design for use in AV rack installations where signal quality is a priority. Standard IEC power cables with parallel conductors generate AC magnetic fields that radiate outward and can induce noise into nearby audio, video, and control signal cabling. The SignalSAFE design addresses this by twisting the conductors, which causes the magnetic fields from adjacent wires to cancel each other, dramatically reducing the interference potential. A blue stripe on each cable provides instant visual identification of SignalSAFE-rated cables during installation and maintenance. The 14-gauge wire construction supports the current demands of typical rack-mounted AV equipment while maintaining a compact cable form factor.
