The Middle Atlantic IDCFANKIT-4 is an international-voltage rack fan kit that delivers intelligent thermostatic cooling for laminate equipment racks. Heat is the leading cause of premature equipment failure in enclosed AV racks, and laminate enclosures in credenzas and closets are especially prone to heat buildup during commercial deployment. The IDCFANKIT-4 addresses this with intelligent thermostatic control that responds to cabinet temperature, moving air only when cooling is needed rather than running fans continuously. The kit installs in the top of the Rear Access Panel on Middle Atlantic RK/BRK and RDR Series racks, exhausting warm air out of the enclosure along the natural convection path. With a 100 CFM free-air rating across four fans, the kit provides meaningful airflow for densely loaded small-format racks in conference rooms, residential media systems, and retail AV installations. The 220–240VAC input voltage makes this the correct fan kit specification for international projects and export installations where North American 120V kits are not compatible.
