The Middle Atlantic HPQ is a pack of 100 cable-friendly short rack screws with 10-32 threads and a 3/8-inch length. The truss-head Phillips screws feature a rounded tip designed to prevent wire chafing when cables are dressed inside the front rackrail, making them ideal for vent panels, cable management bars, and other accessories in populated racks.
Product Description
The HPQ screw is a specialized short rack screw designed for installations where cable management considerations inside the rackrail are important. Standard rack screws extend into the rackrail interior when driven, and sharp screw tips can abrade cable jackets that are dressed behind panels. The HPQ addresses this with a rounded tip that won't chafe against wires running inside the rackrail. At 3/8 inch long, these screws are shorter than standard HP rack screws, which reduces how far they project into the rail interior. The black truss-head Phillips design provides a clean, professional appearance consistent with the HP series and works with standard Phillips screwdrivers or power drivers. Sold in a pack of 100 pieces, suitable for stocking at common installation quantities.
