Product Overview

The Middle Atlantic HPM Hinged Panel Mount series provides a wall-mountable and rack-mountable solution for mounting AV components, routers, modems, and other small devices in locations where a full rack enclosure is not practical. The hinged design allows the panel to swing open for rear access to connected cables and device ports, eliminating the need to remove the unit from the wall or rack for service. Rugged steel construction with a standard 10-32 threaded rackrail makes it compatible with standard rack equipment, and universal keyhole mounting supports both left and right-swing configurations.

Product Description

The HPM is a practical solution for small AV and IT installations where a full rack enclosure is unnecessary but organized, secure component mounting is still required. Common applications include mounting network routers, cable modems, wireless access points, small audio amplifiers, and control processors on a wall in utility rooms, closets, and above-ceiling locations. The hinged panel swings open when service is needed, providing full access to the rear of mounted components and their cable connections without unmounting the unit. Universal keyhole slots allow the panel to be configured to swing either left or right to suit the available clearance at the installation location. When rack-mounted in a 19-inch open frame rack, the HPM adds hinged access in a position where fixed panels would require the entire rack to be pulled from the wall for rear access. Included rack screws and hook-and-loop fasteners support both rack mounting and device retention on the panel surface. An optional dust cover and modem shelf are available as accessories.
