The Middle Atlantic HP-24 is a pack of 100 standard black 12-24 threaded rack screws, 3/4 inch long, with heat-treated heads to prevent stripping. Pre-installed nylon washers protect equipment front panel finishes. Primarily used in telecommunications and data center rack applications where 12-24 threaded racks are standard.
Product Description
The HP-24 provides a 100-piece supply of 12-24 threaded rack screws for data and telecom rack installations. While 10-32 threading is standard in AV applications, 12-24 thread is the prevailing standard in telecommunications and data center racks, particularly in older infrastructure and in certain equipment brands. The heat-treated heads are harder than standard fasteners, providing resistance to cam-out and head stripping during installation and removal, which is important when screws are installed and removed repeatedly in a working data environment. The pre-installed nylon washers prevent scratching equipment faceplates. At 100 pieces per pack, the HP-24 provides a supply suitable for a complete rack build with spare fasteners.
