Finished in durable black powder coat, the tray includes turn-down edges on the sides to maintain proper cable bend radius for sensitive cabling such as Cat6 and fiber optic.
Product Description
Cable bundles that run across the face of a rack between equipment need a dedicated path to keep them organized and to maintain the bend radius requirements of structured cabling. The HCT-1 is a 1-space (1U) horizontal cable tray that provides this path in a standard rack-mount form factor. It installs in any 19-inch rack at any position and routes cables side-to-side on the rack face, eliminating loose cable loops that obscure equipment front panels and create maintenance difficulties. The turned-down edges on each side of the tray create a gradual bend radius transition as cables exit the tray, which is important for preventing excessive bending in Cat6 data cabling and fiber optic runs. The black powder coat finish matches Middle Atlantic rack accessories and resists corrosion. Frequently used in AV racks to manage HDMI, SDI, and audio snake cabling that needs to traverse the rack horizontally between patch panels or equipment.
