Product Description
The HCM-2DV horizontal cable manager from Middle Atlantic Products is a 2-rack-space panel that combines front D-ring cable guides with vertical end rings for comprehensive cable organization in standard 19-inch rack enclosures. Cable managers like the HCM-2DV are essential in patch bay environments where multiple patch cords must be routed horizontally across the front of the rack without tangling or exceeding the minimum bend radius of the cables. The D-ring style guides allow cables to be loaded from the front quickly without threading them through enclosed loops, which simplifies adds and changes in active installations. The vertical end rings address the transition from horizontal routing to vertical cable runs at the sides of the rack. For optimal performance, Middle Atlantic recommends not exceeding a 50% fill rate when routing cables through the rings. Welded steel construction ensures the rings resist bending under cable bundle weight. This panel fills 2 rack spaces in the rack face and is finished in a durable black powder coat.
