The HCM-2DR Horizontal Cable Manager from Middle Atlantic Products occupies 2 rack spaces and provides D-ring style cable management on both the front and rear of the unit. D-ring cable managers are widely used in data center and AV rack environments because the D-ring guides patch cords and network cables at the correct bend radius without the bulk of enclosed cable manager designs. Having D-rings on both the front and rear of the unit allows cables to be guided on both sides of the rack rail, which is particularly useful for organizing cables entering the rack from the front while also managing rear cable runs to switching and patch equipment. The 16-gauge welded steel construction provides the structural rigidity required to support cable bundles without flexing, and the black powder coat finish coordinates with standard black rack aesthetics.
