Product Description
The GUARD-10 fan guard from Middle Atlantic Products fits 10-inch fans and provides the protective grille needed over exposed fan openings in rack cooling applications. The hamburger grille style, which uses horizontal bars rather than a wire mesh pattern, provides a clean, professional appearance that is consistent with standard rack hardware aesthetics. Fan guards are an important safety and protection component in rack installations: they prevent accidental contact with spinning fan blades during normal rack access, reduce the risk of loose cables or objects entering fan openings, and protect fan blades from physical damage. The GUARD-10 is the 10-inch variant; Middle Atlantic also produces guards for 4-1/2-inch and 6-inch fans to cover the full range of fan sizes in the ERK fan top family. The flat black powder coat finish matches standard Middle Atlantic rack hardware, and all mounting hardware is included for immediate installation.
