Product Description

The GK4 grommet kit from Middle Atlantic Products contains four 4-inch open ring grommets suited for 4-inch trade-size electrical knockouts commonly found in commercial rack enclosures, as well as the 4-1/2-inch fan knockouts on Middle Atlantic top panel options. The open ring style covers the exposed metal edges of the knockout to protect cable jacket insulation from abrasion while leaving the opening accessible for routing cable bundles or ganged conduit runs without the expense of standard electrical fittings. A companion gland grommet variant, the GK-4G, is also available for applications where dust blocking and a tighter seal around cables is required. The GK4 open ring grommets focus on cable protection and versatile access rather than sealing, making them suitable for high-density cable entry points where multiple cables pass through a single knockout. Each kit includes 4 grommets. The 3-inch knockout size is served by the GK-3 (open ring) and GK-3G (gland) variants.
