The Middle Atlantic FWD-UVPB-42-45 is a Forward Series universal vertical power mounting bracket sized for 42 to 45 RU racks. It accepts any button-mount style power strip, including Legrand, Raritan, and ServerTech units, as well as Middle Atlantic PDT Series, PD Series, and MPR Series power products. The bracket drops directly into the Lever Lock slots on BGR, DWR, and SR rack rail brackets, and includes hardware for mounting in other Middle Atlantic rack rail styles.

Product Description

Vertical power distribution keeps outlets close to equipment and frees up rack spaces that horizontal power strips would otherwise occupy. The FWD-UVPB-42-45 makes vertical PDU mounting a drop-in task: the bracket seats into the Lever Lock slots on Middle Atlantic BGR, DWR, and SR rack rail brackets without tools. Because those slots run continuously from front to back, the installer can position the power strip anywhere along the rack depth, keeping outlets aligned with equipment power inlets and away from cable bundles. The universal button-mount design accepts third-party vertical power strips from manufacturers such as Legrand, Raritan, and ServerTech, along with Middle Atlantic PDT, PD, and MPR Series units. Hardware is included for mounting in other Middle Atlantic rack rail bracket styles, covering racks such as the MRK, WRK, ERK, and VRK. The one exception is the SNE Series, which uses the dedicated SNE-UVPB-4245-S bracket instead. Flanged steel construction gives the bracket the rigidity to carry a fully loaded power strip, and it pairs with Forward vertical and horizontal cable management products to keep power cords routed cleanly. For shorter enclosures, Middle Atlantic offers matching Forward universal vertical power brackets in other RU ranges.
