The Middle Atlantic FWD-SB3 is a 3-space Forward series blank panel with flanged steel construction and a black textured finish. It installs without rack screws using spring-loaded ergonomic clips that click directly into Forward rackrails, offering up to 5x faster installation than traditional screw-in blank panels. Compatible with BGR Series enclosures.
Product Description
The FWD-SB3 is part of Middle Atlantic's Forward series of tool-free, clip-in rack accessories designed for BGR Series rack enclosures. Traditional blank panels require a rack screw at each corner, which adds installation and removal time when frequently reconfiguring a rack. The FWD-SB3 eliminates this friction: the spring-loaded clips on the panel's rear flanges snap into dedicated slots on Forward rackrails and can be released by hand without tools. The result is dramatically faster blank panel installation and removal during rack builds and moves. The 3RU size covers three rack spaces, making it appropriate for filling larger unused sections of a rack. The flanged steel construction is durable and the black textured powder coat finish matches standard BGR Series enclosure aesthetics. Use FWD-SB3 panels alongside other Forward series accessories like FWD-SB1 and FWD-SB2 for complete tool-free rack population.
